Labels and Narrow Web

The narrow-web label press is where UV flexo, water-based flexo, screen and hot foil meet in a single pass. Our ranges are built to run together on that press: UniCure UV flexo inks for the colour, UniFine water-based inks where odour and food contact demand it, UniCure narrow-web coatings for the finish, and screen inks for opaque whites and tactile effects.

High-definition plates at 4000 dpi with flat-top dots and 1 % highlights have moved label print into territory once reserved for offset and gravure. UniCure NX is formulated at 300–600 mPa·s with a near-Newtonian flow curve so that it transfers cleanly from the fine 1.5–2.5 BCM aniloxes that HD work requires.
