UNIPAD -12PP Series pad printing ink is a high-gloss specialty ink designed for printing on untreated polypropylene and offering excellent adhesion to most polypropylene-based substrates. The purer the substrate, the greater the adhesion without requiring pre-treatment. Additional applications include treated polypropylene, treated polyester, metal (do preventive tests), lacquered surfaces, and polyurethane. Owing to the production process, some polypropylene materials may show lubricant residues on the surface which can result in reduced adhesion of the ink film. In this case, please check if printing without pre-cleaning is possible. Since all the print substrates mentioned may be different in printability even within an individual type, preliminary trials are essential to determine the suitability for the intended use.
