Overview
Printed, then moulded in
An in-mould label is placed in the mould and fused into the wall of the container as the polymer is injected or blown. The ink sees the melt temperature of the polymer and must not scorch, blister or transfer.
UniCure IML is formulated for that thermal step, and for the static problem that follows it: our ASC 88RC anti-static, benzophenone-free gloss OPV dissipates surface charge so that robots pick one label at a time rather than two.
