Overview
Printing on plastic surfaces
We supply high-adhesion, high-scratch-resistance silk-screen printing inks in single-pack and two-pack systems for plastic substrates, used across membrane switches, front panels, in-mould decoration, vinyls and PET-G or polycarbonate stickers.
Wetting comes first: an ink can only adhere where it first wets, and wetting requires the surface energy of the substrate to exceed the surface tension of the ink. PVC, PC, ABS, PS, PMMA and PET sit at 39–46 mN/m and print directly; polyolefins need treatment or an ink formulated for them.
