In March 2026 EuPIA published the first edition of its Charter on raw material selection and exclusion, replacing the Exclusion Policy referenced by the industry since 2016. The Charter keeps the explicit exclusions — heavy-metal pigments, named solvents, hazardous plasticisers — and adds a risk-based tier for hazardous substances, requiring substitution of non-threshold substances within a year. As an export-oriented manufacturer formulating to European regulations for every market, Uniform Industries has assessed its complete range against the Charter, confirmed that its UV ranges are free of TPO, and updated its data sheets and website to reference the Charter in place of the Exclusion Policy.
