Overview
Built for high-definition flexo
UniCure NX is our next-generation series for high-definition narrow-web label printing: 4000 dpi plates, flat-top dots, 1 % highlights and expanded-gamut colour on coated paper and top-coated plastic substrates.
The series is formulated at 300–600 mPa·s with a near-Newtonian flow curve. Low thixotropy means the ink flows into the anilox cells and out again at 200 m/min without the shear-thinning lag that starves fine cells, and it levels on the substrate, giving smooth solids from the same anilox that prints the 1 % dots.

Colour strength and dispersion
Optical density from a thin film is a pigment-loading problem. The series uses high-strength organic pigments milled to a narrow particle-size distribution so that colour strength per gram is maximised and gloss is not scattered away.
Expanded-gamut sets are matched to the Pantone Extended Gamut reference so that spot colours can be built from seven fixed inks, eliminating wash-ups between jobs. Opaque whites use surface-treated rutile TiO₂ at loadings that give one-hit opacity from a 4 BCM anilox on clear film.
