The UviCure roller-coater range
Roller-coater application on offset-printed board is the highest-volume UV coating format in commercial print. The UviCure range covers standard gloss, high-performance gloss for porous stock, texture top coats, metallised PET board coatings, high-slip and high-flexibility grades.
Grades in this series
UviCure 10RC
Standard gloss coating. Viscosity 45±5 s, gloss above 90 GU, 2.8–3.2 g/m². Paper, board, CC-PET, LDPE and BOPP above 40 dyne.
UviCure 11RC
High-performance gloss for less print area and high porosity. Viscosity 65±5 s, gloss above 85 GU, 3.0–3.5 g/m².
UviCure 12RC
Texture top coat with larger drips. Viscosity 50±5 s, paper and board.
UviCure 14RC
Metallised PET coating. Viscosity 55±5 s, gloss above 95 GU, 2.5–3.0 g/m². High scuff and scratch resistance for UV offset printed met-PET board.
UviCure 15RC
Gloss coating with good foldability.
UviCure 16RC
High-slip coating for playing cards.
UviCure 17RC
Gloss coating for high-GSM paper, 2.0–2.5 g/m². High flexibility and compressibility for book covers.
UviCure 20RC
Texture coating with small drips.
