Overview
UV adhesives that cure on demand
Uniform Industries UV curable adhesives are one-component, solvent-free acrylate systems that stay liquid on the press until they pass under the lamp, then cure to a bonded film in a fraction of a second. Because nothing has to evaporate there is no drying tunnel, no VOC and no pot life: the adhesive on the anilox at the end of the shift is the same as at the start.
The range covers UCFP foil primers for cold-foil transfer on labels and cartons, UCLA laminating adhesives for film-to-film and film-to-paper lamination with optical clarity, UCFA and Galaxy grades for casting and holographic effects, and low-migration versions for food-packaging structures. All grades run on standard UV flexo coating units and cure with medium-pressure mercury or 395 nm LED lamps.

UCFP-650P / 651P
Cold-foil primers for narrow-web labels and sheet-fed cartons; high foil pick-up, sharp edges, fine text and reverse detail.
UCLA-652OB / 653OBF
Optically brilliant laminating adhesives for film-to-film and film-to-paper; high bond strength with full clarity.
UCLA-654LM / UCFA-655LM
Low-migration laminating and cold-foil adhesives for food-packaging labels and cartons.
Galaxy 2210 – 2280
Casting and holographic lamination adhesives for cast-and-cure effects on labels, cartons and flexible packaging.
UV LED cure
All grades cure under 395 nm LED as well as medium-pressure mercury lamps; see each TDS for the dose.
Compliance
Raw materials selected per the EuPIA Charter; TPO- and ITX-free photoinitiator packages on the LM grades.
